Malawi’s Gaba seals Celtic move

Bullets FC celebrated star player Gabadinho Mhango has completed a move to South Africa’s top league side Bloemfontein Celtic.

South Africa’s soccer online publication Soccer Laduna reported that the Malawian striker has penned a three-year contract.

The publication quoted Celtic Chief Executive Officer CEO Khumbulani Konco who said would give finer details of the deal later.

“Yes we have signed him and I think it is for three years, but I will have the full information for you when I am in the office. But but we have signed him.”

The club has been on the lookout for a striker, following the departure of Lennox Bacela to Orlando Pitates.

The striker is believed to have signed for three years, after impressing coach Clinton Larsen and his technical team.

Asked for comment, Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco confirmed to Soccer-Laduma that the Malawi international will be turning out for his side this season.

The player underwent two-week trials where he scored three goals.
