The shakeup was made barely hours after the team lost 2-1 to Bidvest Wits at home as the poor run in the season continues.

Celtic said the reason for parting ways with Letsoaka was unconvincing results.

“The reason to part ways with the coach was all about results,” Celtic CEO Khumbulane Konco, told Kickoff.

“We have put Hloni Seema and John Maduka in charge in the interim.”

He said the team would be searching for both local and international coach as a permanent replacement.

“We are looking for coach both local and international but there is no time frame,”
he said.

Maduka is Malawi’s legend who was once a long serving captain for the national team.

The soft spoken Maduka, played professional football at Umtata Bushbucks where he became a household name.

Towards the twilight of his glittering career he joined Celtic and joined the technical team after retiring from football.

I wonder why John Maduka has been overlooked by FAM we only see Mabedi n Mtawari being favoured but you cant talk of Malawi football without mentioning the Meastro John Maduka.
