MCA student to launch debut gospel album in Kasungu

Gifted with a golden voice, 23 year old Brenda Kadam’manja  a fourth year student at Malawi collage of Accountancy (MCA), pursuing Bachelor of science in business management and entrepreneurship has finally completed her recording work of both CD and DVD of her first debut album titled “Patsogolo” scheduled to be launched at Kasungu CCAP hall on Sunday, 16th November, 2014.

Brenda had more options in this world but she opted to sing for the Lord. She recorded her first track titled “Ndiyese” in November last year.

Speaking in an interview Brenda said she fought tooth and nail to juggle studies and recording.

“To say the truth, my recording period wasn’t that easy because I had to make sure that I record my music and at the same time I should not miss any class but thank God I have done it,”She said

She also said the Bible verse that rings in her day to day is mark 16:15 which says  “go ye into the world and preach gospel to every creature.”

About the forthcoming launch Brenda said with support from parents and fellow students at Malawi Collage of Accountancy in Blantyre everything is set and that people in Kasungu and surrounding areas should expect fireworks .

To spice up the launch there  will be live performances of Kondwani Chirwa, Good Friday, Ruth Missi, Norman Phiri,  Kasungu CCAP praise team, Kasungu living waters Praise team and many others.

Recorded by Dick Kankhunda and Chikondi Chakanika at Thoms Studio in Blantyre the album has 10 tracks, some of the songs like Patsogolo, Hosanna, ulape,you are worthy have already started receiving positive feedbacks.
