Hard to applaud anyone who is so retrogressive. We should not expect improved Secondary Education in the country if everyone is too poor to pay for it. While it is true most Malawians would find it very hard to afford the suggested costs; we would have expected, to say the least, some altenative views as to how the costs could still be met so that the standards are not compromised. To maintain the same old fees and expect to make progress in improving standards without any other means of financing, is ‘ a lot of wishful thinking’.

Yes but at an expense of horrible education. Look at the production of our University students now days with their broken English and lack of innovation. Most of them are unemployable in any form including self employment.
This type of education will produce more criminals than we think.

It takes a great man to say “I am wrong”. We need humility in the conduct… Read more »

O……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..O I for one, want the MCP to make its stand known, on the gay issue, not for them to applaud govt for suspending the fee-hike coz eulogy or no eulogy, nothing will change. You are playing hide and seek on the gay-issue and not coming out clearly. Don’t think that because you are neutral, some of us will not know your stand. Coz . . . “If you are neutral in a situation of injustice [where some two misguided people can just wake up n suspend laws willy-nilly; or where some are calling for killing of others], you have… Read more »
