Someone says they were paying 350 in 1994. OK the exchange rate was $1:MK2, now it is $1:MK600. If we use this as a gactor, then we should be paying fees of above MK100,000.

For the urban poor, madzi akwera, magetsi akwera, cost of goods and services is very high. Ndiye izinso? Ana ambiri saphuinzira. For the rural poor ndiye nyanyi!!!!!! Most of them only have seasonal incomes during the time of harvest. Incomes which are disproportionate to the cost of imports. Some have no incomes at all.
