I CAN SEE NOTHING WILL COME OUT OF HIS TRIP. YOU CAN TELL BY THE SET UP OF ALL HIS MEETINGS, THAT IT WAS DONE BY THEMSELF. THEY USED THE SAME TABLE ALL THE TIME WITH THIER OWN CHEAP BLUE GLASSES FROM A DOLLA STORE. NO WHERE IN THE U.S.A BOARD ROOM WOULD ALLOW TO USE THE SAME TABLE WEAR AND TABLE CLOTH. To you Ujeni,

Words are powerful and something tangible will develop. MCP used to sing the song that Kamuzu snatched the Country from the colonial master with words only.
Binging used to say he would turn things aaround just before he became President which he did the first five years
Visions, mission statements are all words through which policies, strategies , Time lines, KPA and KPI are developed and goals realized.

I still have to understand why Mutharika spent more than 2 weeks in USA. How much money has been wasted? These tiny “small” meetings don’t need the presence of Head of State. Since when do heads of state negotiate these small things? We have all the required officers at the embassy in Washington. Their responsibility is to link such people with relevant ministries.
