Moyale roast KB 4-0 to open 3-point gap: Malawi TNM Super League

Forward Deus Nkutu’s hat track helped Moyale Barracks to roast their brothers in arms Kamuzu Barracks 4-0 in TNM Super League match played at Mzuzu stadium on Sunday.

The Mzuzu based soldiers are now three points clear on the log table ahead of second placed Blue Eagles who tie with third placed Big Bullets at 40 points.

The hat trick also moved Nkutu, who is the current top scorer, closer to his first TNM Super League golden boot award with 14 goals.

Nkutu first registered his name on the score sheet just after nine minutes into the game.

Moyale went ahead to double the lead in the 21st minute through Flames forward Gastin Simkonda before Nkutu added another one just before recess in 39th minute.

As if this was not enough, Kamuzi Barracks defender Mustafa Salamu was given a straight red card for a crude tackle on Chrispin Fukizi.

in the second, KB fought gallantly to reduce the arrears but the misfiring of Kelvin Hang’anda, Ben Hojani and Pempho Kansichiri let them down.

And then against the run of play, Nkutu completed a hat trick to wrap up the massacre.

Following are the result for week 20.
