The issue of Mozambican officials at nyamapanda / cuchamano border needs to be reported to the mozambique embassy in Malawi . This really happens. Amawaonelera those traveling by public transport especially buses. But neverv ask those on private vehicles to do the same. They say ( faka 50 ) meaning, put 50 rand in the passport. I have seen this happening as I have travelled on this road for the past 20 years

On one hand, that is Utter nonsense! What evidence/statistics do you have supporting your allegation? If you can put the cost in dollars, that would be a good start. If you are right, you better check if all health employees near borders, are actually Malawians. Besides, with incidence of both polygamy or adultery, in our beloved conservative land called Malawi; it is common for men and women to marry on both sides of the border.

So do tread carefully, lest you should make us all look like fools.

DONT BLAME MOZAMBIQUANS. BLAME OUR GOVERNMENT. THIS IS THE WHOLE REASON WHY WE NEED IDENTITY CARDS. THERE RE LOTS OF BENEFITS WITH IDs. KOMA NDALAMA KUBOMAKU NTCHITO KUMANGOBA BASI.

YOU WILL REMAIN LIKE THAT PROVIDING FREE MEDICAL SERVICES TO OTHER NATIONALS AND YET YOUR OWN PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING. MOZAMBIQUE IS REALLY A THORN IN OUR FRESH. WE HOSTED MOZAMBICAN REFUGEES FOR 17 YRS. NOW THE REFUGEES ARE BACK AGAIN. IFE KUYESA KUMANGA DOKO MOZAMBIQUE PUT SPANNERS INTO ALL THAT.

WAKE UP MALAWI! ITS NOT A SIN TO HAVE IDs FOR YOUR PEOPLE!

Mozambicans treat Malawians very badly especially at Nyamapanda. The immigration officials are so corrupt they force Malawians to each pay R50 before their passports can be stamped for transit. These people should be made to pay at our hospitals.
