Mponda leaves Surestream FC: Resignation accepted

Surestream FC technical director Peter Mponda has finally resigned and this time around the club’s management has accepted him to move on.

Mponda submitted his resignation letter to the club’s chairperson Chris Pitman and he has since accepted it.

Surestream Public Relations Officer, Linda Chiume Gombera confirmed that the club has let Mponda go by mutual consent.

Gombera said the two agreed to part ways after looking at the indifferent start to the TNM Super League campaign by Surestream.

“Surestream and Peter Mponda have agreed to part company by mutual consent,” she said. “We wish Peter Mponda well for the future.”

The club which is yet to win a game in the league said it shall make “a further announcement in due course.”

Surestream FC made history by becoming the first outfit to make it into the Super League within two seasons of playing competitive football. They won Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) Division One title in 2013 and the Premier League glory the following year.

THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN COACH AND CAPTAING IN SOCCER. Coach trains the team while the captain just organizes his fellow player Team’s failure is the coach’s responsibility not the captain. Coach is shouted,dismissed when the team is not doing well while the captains feel no problem At times coach runs away with his feet to his mother while a captain does not. Untrained coach like you can you coach and fight another team being coached by a trained and experienced coaches. We told you that you need experienced blood, but you refused. Don’t worry Peter. All these people writing nonsense on this forum will never contribute anything in your life. Having a mother is an important thing in this life. Enawa amangokonda kuyankhula but have not even done what they say. You have a life, move on man. After all, who says that there is no life after leaving employment??
