Don’t ask me, Ask Timothy and Trapence to comment. as they can comment on anything blue, black, gay instead of this important issue.

while am lamenting with the nation for doing nothing as the education budget was being butchered, and all these evils continue to be piled on us Malawians , I still think God is with us and hearing our prayers. This clueless, inept and visionless leadership will go. Lucious “soldier ” Banda once sung this song called Mabala “Ana a Mulungu sangakhale akulira masiku onse amoyo wawo…..” God help us. Amen

Malawians are people hardly to know them exactly who they are. They cry too much yet they can’t do anything. They are people who don’t care even if their leaders can cheat, rob, or oppress them they just keep quiet. No one, I say no one can come from another country oand fix Malawi. It’s Malawians who can fix Malawi. This Wise man from the east seems like he is good crying like a baby yet he have no clue himself to fix Malawi. Malawi need another Chakufwa Chihana. Articles will not solve anything, but action. So Mr Wise man… Read more »

Man you can write uhh the problem here is lack of patriotism u are very true this country is full of bootlickers just like our chiefs and leaders of NGO who pretend in working for the good course of the people. Just look soon after the passing of the useless budget which deny children of Malawi better education on Zodiak there was a debate on the issue of better education for all I asked myself that what is this for. All who contributed just wasted their time we do not need talking and talking here. All what is needed is… Read more »

The issue of maize shortgae is due to hoarding by some traders, just ban maize trade and only Admarc should be allowed to trade in maize then shortage will dissappear. During Bingus time there was no shortage as he banned maize trade. and Admarc should be the sole source where farmers can sell maize. This item is of national importance we cannot allow maize to be freely traded by greedy traders

What a great article! I salute you my brother. Looking at the breed of politicans we have today, and those that are are voted into parliament, I see our future becoming bleaker and bleaker. Who could have thot that the VP could vomit such words as labelling anybody questioning their direction as “Idiots”? This guy is a friend of mine and we have always brainstormed about our course of goverments for years as being wrong. Is he all of a sudden now a master of politics, economics, education, health, trade etc? so that when some of our learned friends who… Read more »

Very nice article written by a brilliant patriotic Malawian. what touched me most was questions as to why no one gave our opposition MPs just moral support when defending the education budget. Surely parents whose children are sitting on the ground under a tree as their classroom should have done something. Our students in secondary schools without laboratories should have done something. Our students in colleges whose libraries don’t stock relevant books should have done something. The Benedicto Kondowes of this world should have done something, at least being present at parliament building and tell opposition MPs that “we are… Read more »
