Congratulations my Lord, Finally someone with intellectual capacity and work ethic has assumed the highest office in the judicial arm of government again. Before your Lordship’s appointment as Chief Justice the lack – or rather total absence – of both intellectual capacity and work ethic was indeed scary to say the least. May the whole of the judiciary now start to emulate the qualities of Andrew Nyirenda after a period of rapid decline which started when Richard Banda left office and in the process regain the respect it lost years ago. Inasmuch as salute you your Lordship, we shall also… Read more »

My view is that the Executive has started to implement its Reforms Programme which will not comprise MERIT. The Executive has starded to build Malawi wokomela onse and I, a Nyikan as you prefer to label me, (and I proudly accept), I say thank you Mr. President for taking this first step towards building an inclusive Malawi. Of course, we are far from reaching the destination. There are blocks to dismantle – qouta, roads, hospitals, attempts to snatch projects from one region to another, continued ethnic divisions(instigated by a few insecure characters), cashgate etc etc.

it was expected, why civil service reforms have forced peter mutharika to stick to his words and his stand, for the first time i must congratulate peter mutharika, i think now i can take his civil service reforms seriously, if am more senior than others in civil service i deserve automatic promotion thats how i understand civil service reforms!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Justice Nyirenda. I was waiting for this time and believes that your maturity and soberness will continue to guide you. I remember the days when you hold the position of Director of Public Prosecution. You demonstrated that you are not guided by envy at all. By that time your principal duty was to see getting convicted. Despite the fact that your job demanded that alot of people with various offences gets convicted you examined their cases with independent minded and made the right decisions that people whose cases lacked evidence did not suffer. You even differed with corrupt Magistrates… Read more »
