Whatever reasons there were for going to war, our living legends deserve everybody’s financial and Material support. Thanks to the President for the gesture. But may I appeal to the organizers that next time they are launching the Poppy Day at the State House, they should also be inviting corporations and small companies to be in attendance. They would be surprised with how these companies would donate in the presence of the Head of State. Surely if this were the case, millions of kwachas would be raised at one function only. Believe me!!

Foolish Africans. Europeans that fought in Ww1 and WW2 were handsomely awarded and compeseted. Some of these were given money to acquire land in Africa including Malawi. The tea estates you see in Malawi
