The other time Beam collected money in the name of decorating roundabouts and what it has done is to uproot the grass and flowers and leave the roundabouts in a sorry state. Take the Capital Hotel roundabout as an example . So what is this now and in any case shouldn’t the City Council be doing this?

Mayor Chapondera and Peter Mutharika are isotopes . They are like minded retrogressive creatures who given a civilized society should never be allowed any closer to any leadership position. At you Chapondera, ever thought of a project say, a dual carrisge road from KIA to Kanengo to A/18 roundabout to Mchinji round about to Town hall up to 6 miles (Bunda turn-off). Such a four lane road will not only improve the image of the city from the airport but also ease traffic jam within the city.
