Be serious Mr President, ‘eradicating the pandemic’ these are epidemiological terms meaning that HIV/AIDS wont be there by 2030 where wil those that are being infected now go, are going to kill them all, then whats the use of buying those ARVs? Reason.
Meaning that u r going to kill all that are infected now and evn those already on treatment? All else they wil hav their own country a counrty of HIV/AIDS people other than Malawi.

Malawi government’s contribution is for purchase using Indian owned companies who will pay huge bribes to Mutharika. Why does Malawi not buy directly from manufacturers instead of enriching corrupt Indians?

Eradicate the HIV/ AIDS pandemic by 2030? This goal is NOT realistic your excellency sir. Here is why: eradicating a pandemic means there will be no HIV cases by 2030, which is 15 years from now, not so? At the same time we want 90% of those infected to be treated, and those on treatment can stay for more than 15 years according to statistics. So in reality we will have a good number of people by 2030 who will be on ARVs and surviving because they have been started on medications since we are targetting the 90:90:90.
