Here comes another chance to siphon money from government coffers in the name of rehabilitating the finished un-rehabilitatable Kamuzu Stadium, an eye sore in the commercial city of Blantyre.

Here comes another golden opportunity to continue embezzlement of gate collections by gangs disguised as football fans

Bwana president please accept that the stadium has outlived its life span. The only option is demolition, period.

Mutharika at his best, fearing to lose southern votes rather than protecting people’s lives and players’ safety. Such leaders of more political mentality than progressive mind are not needed in Malawi. It should be declared, leaders of Mutharika’s brain are a taboo to our country. The man is a fully-fledged failure and always leads from behind. The best judgement from a president would be to consult owners of MDC Stadium,Escom Stadium, and BAT ground and agree to have government refurbish those football arenas in order for Blantyre teams to be able to host matches there while Kamuzu Stadium is demolished… Read more »

The government should listen. Much as I don’t like and agree with the current FAM executive but on this one they got it right. That place is really a death trap, let’s us not expect miracles. We need the right decisions. The first one is to close the place which we have to accept that it will bring misery to football loving fans in Blantyre but we will have avoided any catastrophic disaster.
