Mutharika to win –Prophet Liabunya

Prophet Austin Liabunya has prophesied Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) president Peter Mutharika’s victory in the May 20 presidential elections.

Liabunya says Malawi is entering into a destiny-changing year and that 74-year-old Mutharika will form the next government taking over from the incumbent President Joyce Banda.

However, Prophet Bentry Canaan Chiko Chawinga of the Mzuzu based Holy Nature Ministries, said God had showed him that President Banda will continue to rule beyond 2014.

Another man of God in Blantyre apostle Stephano Phiri, leader of Jesus is coming soon ministry said God spoke to him about the change of Malawi’s leadership, saying a born-again Christian will take over the reign of the country “soon”.

This apostle claimed that he has been “speaking to God” who revealed to him about the leadership change.

“God is taking Malawi Government into born-again Christian hands,” he told journalists at his church in the Township of Chilobwe.

The prophecy was linked to MCP president Lazarus Chakwera a former leader of a Pentecostal church.

Liabunya said God is raising God-fearing politicians from the existing parties who are going to lead Malawi into a new dispensation.

The Man of God continued claimed the president to be in 2014 was advised sometimes back to change denominations for political reasons. To this effect, Liabunya in the prophecy gave a clue that the person he was talking about was a brother to a president who joined CCAP church.

Prophet Liabunya insists the time of Chakwera is not now,  saying he will become the president of Malawi in future.
