Mwanache set to release new song featuring Lulu: Joins Prime Media Time

Malawi’s fastest rapper, Mwanache, has put pen to paper to a deal with Prime Time Media (PTM) on a four-year recording and performing contract.

Edward Kankhomba, PTM executive, confirmed:“Yes, we have looped in Mwanache. He is a great artist and we are sure he will go places”.

The PTM chief showed he was totally satisfied with his new signing as he described Mwanache as a “mature and unique guy”.

“Great talent Malawi has, just need guidance and support from all sectors,” said Kankhomba.

Showing he is a boss who means business when he says support and guidance, he lets Mwanache really bring out his true self as he champions relationship abuse on a Lulu assisted track called “Zimandikhudza”.

Nyasa Showbiz understands that the song is expected to be released this week.

The choice of Lulu on this track guarantees “Zimandikhudza” to be a definite banger.

As the track plays they both sadly ask a mysterious beautiful girl why she allows herself to be in an abusive relation.

On the S.U produced record, this powerful piece of art carries a message which should strike a chord with many. One can easily relate to the message on the track.

This is true to Kankhomba’s words; “Mwanache got mad potential [and] he needs support.”

And support he will get as the Prime Time Media boss revealed they were putting in work.

“We have projects, albums and more. In fact we are putting out an album before end of this year” Kankhomba said

Mwanache was previously signed to Kutchira Entertainment, run by renowned Hip Hop artist BarryOne and Wes P.

At PTM, Mwanache joins Nesnes, King Chambiecco and Gwamba.

Mr. Ujeni, if you don’t know rap you better just stay quite. Don’t expose yourself too much. In rap we count the syllables to determine how fast one can rap. I hope you know what a syllable is anyway because you need to study linguistics to familiarise yourself with such literary jargon. So when we say the fastest rapper in Malawi; we count the number of syllables the boy can do in a minute. You may also wish to know that the great Daddy Freddy of the ‘We are the Champions’ fame remains the world’s fastest rapper. Freddy rapped 108… Read more »
