trouble with a local coach is that he/she is part of the same culture and seeing things through the same lens. you need an out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving. All sports in the country face similar track record especially without proper target setting.
Resources will forever be a problem. But as in all manner, Malawian; everybody seems to be an expert even those that hardly know the sport or how its nurtured and managed elsewhere and with success!

Mwawi tangonena amene ukufuna adzakoche ku Malawi. Problem in netball is not a coach but lack of resources. Kapena mwina ukunena zoon paja the whole netball team comes from the north

I think Mwawi has no brains besides playing netball. Foreign coach for what? to do what? We have our own ladies experienced ones who have taken the team this far, what’s wrong with them? All what is needed is enough resources basi. Why do we look down upon ourselves and always think that what is foreign is the best. I am very disappointed because I ddn’t expect this to be coming from a person like Mwawi.
