It is such kind of observations that make northerners yearn for Fedarlism. A country with sane leaders cannot fail to put up a major international airport in a region almost the size of Rwanda. Mzuzu needed an international airport long time ago, but due to evil leadership, people in the city and north as a whole, live in the dreamland. An airport is the number one landmark that provides growth to tourism. Mzuzu should be the gateway to the north through a major airport. It is a big shame for Malawi govt failing to do its basic job, Lutepo 4 billion stolen money was enough to build another airport better than that, Bingu 62 billion stolen money was enough to build better airports across BT LL and Mzuzu, Muluzi 1.8 Billion money was enough to build a better airport in mzuzu, infact it is this airport that is kiling tourism in the north a region whose 45% of the land is water, infact largest lake of Malawi is in the north!!!! shame MCP, shame UDF, shame DPP,

This is a good observation. The airport has to move. As for the land, if civil aviation cannot develop it, then they should sell it to the City who will re-dermacate and resale to the interested parties
