NAM confirms Presidential Netball Championship dates: Regional finals this weekend
Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) General Secretary Carol Bapu has confirmed that the national phase for the Presidential Initiative on Sports Netball Championship finals will be played between 8th and 10th December 2016.
Bapu said the finals will be played at Don Bosco Technicall College in Lilongwe.
“The regional finals will be played this weekend and then we will go for the national finals from 8th to 10th December 2016. The games will be played in Lilongwe,” said Bapu on Wednesday.
According to Bapu, people should expect alot of surprises in the regional phase.
“This weekend we expect to see big teams falling and failing to qualify for the national finals” said Bapu.
Kukoma Diamonds are the defending Champions after winning the Cup last year.
They beat Complex Tigresses in a thrilling final played at the Blantyre Youth Centre (BYC) in Blantyre.
