Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) reporter who was assigned to cover President Bingu Mutharika at the state funeral of Zambia President Levi Mwanawasa was on Tuesday recalled after a leakage of shocking pornographic materials in which she is captured. 

The steamy pornographic materials have started circulating in Malawi and MBC’s journalist Dorothy Kachitsa is in the materials. 

“Kachitsa was recalled from Zambia because of these shocking pornographic materials,” said a source at MBC. . 

Neither Kachitsa nor MBC officials were not readily available for comment. 

Kachitsa a Malawi Institute of Journalism (MIJ) trained journalist was recently arrested by British security forces specialising in human trafficking when she entered Britain. She had escorted her brother’s son to UK.

She was released by a Nottingham Crown Court after spending months in a British detention. 

Sex-related issues have recently became hot in Malawi after police arrested Grey Nkungula, General Manager of Malawi Switch Centre (Malswitch) - an affiliate of the central bank, the Reserve Bank of Malawi - and Tapiwa Msisha, wife of prominent lawyer for acting in pornographic materials.

Another sex scandal that refuses to die is where the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) southern region deputy governor MacDonald Solomon stand accused of sneaking into the room of his house- maid and forcibly having sex with her. 

DPP official had forced sex on two occasions but despite the government enticed the victim's parents to "settle the matter out of court" women's rights activist Seodi White, head of the Women in Law in Malawi demands prosecution whatever the victim says.

This is very sad. * am of the opinion that satan is fighting for his possession because if you see, all doing this business are already well to do people. Nyasa Times, you have just proved your credibility and indeed saved your integrity. Dorothy Kachitsa is a rude journalist who was initially UDF converted to the DPP and makes a lot insulting remarks against UDF and its leaders.
