Whatever we can do, this MW Gvt will never bow down to anyone’s contribution. This is how majority govt abuses its majority. The issue is simple their MPs are saying people in their constituencies have asked them to change the flag. So being in majority, they represent majority. Whether what they say in true or not, no one can force it to do otherwise.

It is ridiculous!!! When Muluzi had changed names of Kamuzu Stadium, Kamuzu Highway, the present gvt said he was wrong? I tend to be surprised as to what justification they have to change the flag? Just because MPs and ministers etc whose numbers do not even represent 99% of Malawians, are now able to shop in China, have lots of fuel allowances, raise their salaries at will, then the sun has risen for all Malawians. This is an insult. Malawi is still one of the poorest country in the world where more than 70% line on less than a Dollar (USD)a day. Amati ukakhala pamsana wanjovu usamati knjaku kulibe mame!!!

What I see as a change on the flag is just a shift of black color to middle and the red to top, which is a total bullshit. If this was the proposal of a changed flag I am sorry to say that those were people color agnosia which refers to the inability to recognize a color, while being able to perceive or distinguish it. The govt. still doesn’t understand the meaning of change as we see the way the democracy is being handled in our country.
