The problem with many Malawians is that they believe in very archaic superstitions. The uncle did not need to take the children to the sing’anga to be cleansed of witchcraft. The kids are innocent. There is no evidence of witches or witchcraft. Superstitious beliefs in witches and witchcraft retard development in this country and in many other African countries.

Its really sad to lose a life at such a tender age, poor little soul! Onjateni amenewo asatulukenso. Tiasing’anga tonse tosadziwika bwinoti barn them with immediate effect before we lose more lives. Ndiomwewonso akumaphunzitsa ana ufiti. Athakati inu leave the children alone.
