I have not split with my wife Liz, says Mpinganjira
Brown Mpinganjira, opposition politician has said he had not split with wife, Lizzie.
Mpinganjira told Capital Radio that his wife, a former deputy minister in UDF government is currently residing in United States of America but has not walked out of the marriage.
“She is in the US,” said Mpinganjira of the wife whom she married during the time he was a cabinet minister.
He said the wife went to America after 2004 elections campaign which he said bruised her image.
“Immediately after the elections in 2004, she felt she had been bruised badly enough. Unfortunately the campaigns were a bit salvage, a bit brutal.
“They talked about her in her personal capacity things that shouldn’t have been talked about in public about her personal body,” he said.
“She is only human, she was not able to withstand it any longer,” said Mpinganjira.
Asked whether the marriage is still holding, Mpinganjira said: “Yes, it should be. It is.”
