Ethel Kamwendo to perform at PowerHouse International Church launch in UK
Powerhouse International Church will officially be launched in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2009 in Bradford City, the Church has announced.
Speaking in an interview with Nyasa Times online, Pastor Clement Nkhoma (pictured) said the guest of honour at the launch will be the Lord Mayor of Bradford and they are expecting other high level delegates to join in the celebrations.
“We are grateful that the Lord Mayor of Bradford will be the guest of honour at the function and many other high level guests will be in attendance.
“This is the biggest day in the Church’s history and mind you it happens once. The launch organizing committee led by Pastor Patrick Mtimbusya is prepared for the big day which has drawn Ethel Kamwendo-Banda from Malawi to perform,” said Pastor Nkhoma.
Kamwendo-Banda will be backed by the Powerhouse Praise Team and supported by other England based gospel artists like Pastor Harry Tsegula and Langa.
Powerhouse International Church operates in three cities; Bradford, Leeds and Leicester with plans to open a London branch soon.
“We are a growing Ministry where things (signs and wonders promised by Lord Jesus Christ) are happening and would like to invite everyone to come and worship with us in any of our Church services,” said Pastor Nkhoma.
The launching ceremony at Westgate Baptist Church, Carlisle Road, Bradford, BD8 8BY will start at 1:00 pm finishing at 6:00 pm.
The renowned gospels singer, Kamwendo will also perform for the church in Leicester City on August 31, Bradford City on 5th September 2009 and Leeds on 12th September.
