Sanjika wedding for the President‘s daughter Dec 19
Malawi President, Bingu wa Mutharika, will give away his daughter Duwa to a Zimbabwean national, Tonderai in marriage ceremony that will take place on December 19 at state’s Sanjika Palace.
Duwa, Mutharika’s last born daughter “engaged” the Zimbabwean gym instructor at Sanjika Palace on November7, 2009.
Ministry of Information sources said Duwa and Tonderai will exchange vows on Saturday before family members and “friends”. The ceremony will be followed by feasting.
It will be the second time that a member of the presidential family will wed at Sanjika Palace. Former president Bakili Muluzi, wed Shanil Muluzi when he was Head of State.
Despite tax’s payers’ money to be spend on the wedding, officials are mum, citing the President family’s desire to keep the event “private”.
Duwa who divorced a Malawian husband Mixon Kafoteka said her wedding will be publicised in the Guardian newspaper which she runs as Managing Director.
“I will make it exclusive to the paper,” she is quoted as saying.
Duwa divorces Kafoteka in court last year over “infidelity” matters and “irreconcilable differences”.

Even though yhe toutes about Lomwe’s Mutharika has no love for the Lomwe’s. In the first place he copuld have married a lomwe to preserve heritasge if he really loved his lomwe triBE. All hhis daughtes could have gone for Lomwe men and lomwe initiation ceremonies to shopw their closeness to the culture. But it is all hypocrisy at its best. And again if you google you will see that Duwa Mutharika is identified as Zimbabwean citizen even though Zimbabwe is a bad country.
So it tells you that we have scammers at the state house. All the blame to Muluzi for bringing these totoal strangers.
How did Kafoteka meet this girl. In all fairness Duwa is ugly guys. No wonder she drinks like there is no tomorrow
