A new Christian radio station has hit airwaves in the capital city Lilongwe. It is known as Pentecostal Life FM.

Shema said most Christian radio station miss out news programmes.

“This will not be the case with this radio. That is why we have already established a vibrant newsroom which will enable our listeners to catch up with latest news as events unfold,” said Shema.

Nyasa Times inspected the radio which is located in Area 15 and noted studios with high-tech equipment.

Currently, the radio is playing music as one way of meeting Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (Macra) requirement which says every radio station should undergo a signal testing for 20 days before it starts its programing.

Shema disclosed that soon the radio will be on Go TV in order to expand its listenership.

The radio operates under Pentecostal Life Church International which is an umbrella body Exploits University and Pentecostal Life University.
