Ngalande back in Malawi squad to face Chad

South African based youthful sensational striker Robin Ngalande has been selected in Malawi national football team 20- member squad to play Chad in the second leg of the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers to be played on 31st May 2014 at Mohammed Ouya Stadium.

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) released the squad on Monday with the inclusion Ngalande. Big Bullets goalkeeper Vincent Gona has also made into the squad joining Mighty Wanderers Richard Chipuwa and Charles Swini in goals.

The Squad will not have Black Leopards skipper Harry Nyirenda,who is tied up with play offs games at his club.

Polokwane City vastly experienced striker Esau Kanyenda will not travel with the following his injury duringhis club’s play offs last week.

The team is expected to play a training match against Tanzania on Tuesday at the National Stadium in Dar-es-Salaam and the match will kick off at 19:00 hours (18:00 hours Malawi time).

The team will leave Tanzania on Wednesday morning and will sleep over in Addis Ababa before connecting to Ndjamena on Thursday morning and the delegation will arrive in Chad at 11:40 hours.
