The game ended 1-1 with the visitors scoring first in the first half before the home team equalized in the second half.

However, a scuffle erupted at half time when Tigers team manager Robin Alufandika approached the fourth match officials dug out where he was stopped by a Sulom official to sign some papers.

The referee without consulting was angered by Alufandika’s delay that he showed him marching orders.

The development did not please Alufandika who tried to reason with the referee that he delayed to go on recess time because he was stopped by a league official to sign some documents.

Instead, the referee ordered Stewarts to take Alufandika away from the field of play.

The situation went sour when the chief Steward Pascal Nkuta grabbed Alufandika on the neck forcing him outside the stadium.

The two exchanged bitter words as some spectators accused the stewards for manhandling an innocent official.

Nkuta was heard shouting: “Who is Alufandika? I once pushed [Bukhard] Ziese away from the same stadium what more with Alufandika.”

It had to take the intervention of two Malawi army soldiers to calm the situation.

The soldiers ordered Nkuta to leave the VIP stands.

The soldiers were responsible for security during the match as no police officer was near Kamuzu stadium.

This is just because Nkuta is a total brute who has never been to school and you give him the position as Chief Steward. This is what hap[pens when fools are given position. They do not reason at all.
