Nomads invade north, Tigers storm Capital City:Malawi TNM Super League

Mighty Wanderers have two tricky assignments over the weekend against Kabwafu Fc and Moyale in the on-going TNM Super League.

The Nomads, who are still licking their last week’s wounds following their 4-2 loss to Blantyre United have to brace for a tough ride in order to emerge victorious.

Moyale managed to collect maximum three points after beating Escom United 3-1 in Zomba before another 2-0 victory to Azam Tigers during lask week fixtures.

The Nomads are aware that facing Moyale at their own backyard will be tough they will miss services of their three key players namely Foster Namwera, Moses Chavula and rejuvenated Joseph Kamwendo who have travelled with national team to South Africa.

The people’s team, Big Bullets, who are second to Blantyre United with 38 points, will rock horns with Mafco while Silver Strikers, who have amassed 37 points, have a tricky fixture against Blue Eagles at Nankhaka.

Azam Tigers

Blantyre United coach, Elijah Kananji has vowed to collect three points in order to maintain their position.

“We are aware that it will not be an easy task but our aim is to collect maximum three points so that we maintain our position,” said Kananji.

As Blantyre United will be battling it out with Escom United at Kalulu Stadium, their fellow out-fit from Blantyre, Azam Tigers will be in the Lilongwe to play against in form Epac United before wrapping up their assignment 24 hours against Civo United at Civo Stadium.
