Nomads registers first win in Malawi TNM Super League

Mighty Wanderers  took another huge step in the 2014  TNM Super Legaue title campaign as they registered their first victory against Blantyre United on Sunday at Kalulu Stadium.

Innocent Dzimbiri got the only goal of the game just a few minute after the kick-off  to secure the much needed points for the Nomads.

Mighty Wanderers captain Francis ‘FM 7’ Mlimbika said the victory has come at the right time when they were facing too much pressure from their fans following the team’s poor run against Silver Strikers when they lost 1-0.

“We have to continue being calm and take every game as it comes, otherwise our supporters should expect more good results,” said Mlimbika.

In another encounter at Kamuzu Stadium, Epac FC failed to defend their 1-0 lead ending up losing 4-1 to Azam Tigers.

Rodrick Douglas was first to score for Epac before Tigers scored theirgoals.
