Nomads vents anger on Envirom: Malawi TNM Super League

Mighty Wanderers vented their anger of being ousted in the Presidential Cup  by producing a stunning performance on Sunday against Envirom FC in the TNM Super League winning the well patronized  match  3-1 at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

Mayeso Mphanje and Victor Mpinganjira scored two vital goals in a space of seven minutes.

Ngwira’s goal came in the 31th minute with an intelligent free-kick outside the eighteen yard box  before the new rookies equalized courtesy of man of the match Wongani Zulu in the second half.

As most of the Nomads thought the game could end in a 1-1 affair, the introduction of Anthony Banda and Mayeso Mphanje for Benard Harawa and Innocent Dzimbiri changed their fortunes.

It was not surprising when the Nomads scored two vital goals in the a space of seven minutes through Victor Mpinganjira and Mayeso Mphanje sending their fans to chant, “Nyerere zakoka Envi! Nyerere zakoka Envi!.”

However, the new rookies were a better side in the first half as they displayed some fancy football to the satisfaction of Big Bullets ganyu supporters, who drummed support for them in the entire game.

The only noticeable problem for Envirom was in their striking force where they lacked the punishing power.

After the game, Envirom Coach Emmanuel Viola praised his charges despite losing the match.

“There some positives to get from this game,” he said.

Mighty Wanderers coach Stewart Mbolembole described their victory as a consolation to their fans, who were frustrated last week after their team was shown an exit-door in the Presidential Cup.
