According to current statistics, the championship remains wide open to all the top five teams namely Blue Eagles, Mafco, Silver Strikers, Kamuzu Barracks and Big Bullets itself.

Mighty Be Forward Wanderers can also not been completely ruled out as they come sixth with 41 points [including three to be forfeited from MTV Max Bullets who withrew from the league].

When asked during the week to pledge what the Club Chairman and Bullets as a team in general have prepared for the players as a tocken of appreciaiton if they successfully return the title, Lipipa opted to keep the promises  to his chest.

“Incentives will always be there to motivate our great team just this time we won’t mention the figures,” Lipipa told Nyasa Times.

He said it is too early to start celebrating as the title race is still open.

“It’s too early to celebrate you know all the top six teams have a chance of winning the league depending on how the other teams within the top six performs,” he said.

But what can be done inorder for the People’s team to return the title?

Lipipa said: “We just need to win every game as it comes”.

Over a month ago, Lipipa and Supporters Committee Chairman Stone Mwamadi donated K700,000 to the players as a ‘thank you’ for beating old age traditional rivals Mighrt Be Forward Wanderers.

Lipipa contributed K500,000 while Mwamadi dished out K200,00.

Nyasa Big Bullets are currently at the summit of the Tnm Super League table with a better goal aggregate after being tied on 45 points with second placed Blue Eagles and Mafco FC who are on third position.

They beat Karonga United 4-3 in a had felt victory last weekend to go top.

They are resting in week 28 of the Super League.
