Malawi football champions Nyasa Big Bullets big wigs are applying to Ministry of Lands and Housing for land in Blantyre on which to construct the stadium for the club.
Nyasa Bullets chairperson Sam Chilunga said the club’s board of trustees approved the project, saying once the land has been approved, the project “ will start immediately.”
According to The Nation, Chilunga said the trustees, the supporters and the executive committee will all have their own fundraising activities for the stadium project.
“We hope that everyone will be committed,” he said.
Chilunga said the capacity of the stadium will be determined by the size of land provided and resources.
Bullets recently signed a multi-million kwacha partnership agreement with Nyasa Manufacturing Company (NMC).
