Malopa-Stambuli: Everlasting Romance?

It is not surprising that Bright Malopa is giving wide play to the wacky death of Dr. Kalonga Stambuli to find enough cause to incriminate Dr. Bakili Muluzi in this matter. No doubt, this kind of brazen treachery is far more worthy of sanction than arresting Nkungula for his farcical sexual dalliances. Did I hear someone raise a murmur of dispute? Certainly as the lexicon of murder continues to dominate the DPP modus operandi, so does the Muluzi disparagement and hounding continue to run a glaring first on the DPP’s Mafioso memo? In the eye of public opinion, Malopa and his fellow compliant homophobes are replaying the antiquated motion picture of political nudity, as they dust off the bloody methods of the MYP and abject MCP government in the autocratic war chest. Intriguingly, the semi literate and bed-wetting, Bright Evance Malopa Gondwe, is becoming ever more pronounced as the major domo in this march to tyranny. He is chewing the political fat by using blatant lies as an instrument of communication and deception: even to the point of using extraneous insinuation and total meanness to ensure that Muluzi does not run for the Presidency next year. In addition, on occasion he has even scalded his mortal collaborator in spite, the certified dullard, Ntumodzi, in the process of implementing the vicious and dishonest smudge against the man of the people. Surely, the DPP can no longer recognize the truth because they are incapable of honesty. Meanwhile most reasonable Malawians, have already rejected the Malopa prodding as bogus and disingenuous. Unfortunately, these indulgent grooves are creating a very bad image for the DPP although the top party hedonists do not want to accept the fact that they are putting a scandalous show of depraved adventurism. The real fear is: does Mutharika believe what his errant stooge, Malopa, conspires and despires? A man whose job description seems to make the President look like something other than an empty suit. One thing is certain though, this seemingly small arms fire is likely to erupt into a full-fledged political battle of mortar fire and the hero will be the man himself, the compelling UDF Chair. This man is the one who will stay home as the antagonistic scoundrels duck for cover after a massive thumping in the May 2009 general elections. The activist anti-Muluzi wing of the DPP—Ha! I will not even call it progressive, because they are not Progressives, but a bunch of floating party allies made exclusive by their distasteful and flavorless or insipid maneuverings aimed at playing a dirty pun on Dr. Bakili Muluzi with the late Stambuli saga. I think, in a weird and wonderful way, this hateful and wandering crusade is doing two things. One, it has given me the rare opportunity to reveal the truth about the romance between Kalonga Stambuli and one Bright Malopa.. For the sake of those who did not know, the common denominator between Malopa and late Stambuli, was a pimping relationship that saw Bright Malopa fluffing and sassing the girls before he delivered them to his mentor for favors Malopa can explain better. The second is the undesirable distraction from the real campaign issues the whole matter is creating. In that regard, DPP is not even a winner. Yes, this topic has given Malawians a lot to talk about, rather than trying to appreciate the political messages of their parties of loyalty, which most of them are uncomfortable doing. However, it may also prove the Opposition correct that they are not the sulking boys as government’s voyeurs portray them. There are many decent ways for the government to disagree with Muluzi, without undermining Malawians with cooked up charges of murder as they are trying to do by soliciting the services of Taulai Mtika. If the issue is to grant amnesty to Mtika for the crimes he has committed in Malawi in exchange for his corporation to implicate Muluzi in the Stambuli death, then all the noise Malopa and his butt sniffing terriers have been making on MBC and TVM does not have the best interests of the Stambuli Family in the frame. It was just a frolicsome hoax. Sad that Government is using the Stambuli Family like condoms. They are using this unfortunate and grieving family to achieve their sinister objectives that border on repression. Obviously, Malopa and his fellow felonious phonies do not care who gets hurt in the process of sustaining the DPP chokehold on this country via this calamitous strategy. What they want is to put one over Muluzi to ensure that he is unable to run for the Presidency in May 2009. Alternatively, like other people have already pointed out, to distract him with useless court appearances. Without raising hackles, this lavatory strategy will explode in Mutharika’s face. By the way, part of constructing an effective campaign is to know when an attack is an attack on competitors, and when it is an attack on policies.. Is it not accurate to suggest, therefore, that the DPP and its minority following is not standing up for uprightness in political leadership, public discussion, and political commission and omission? Suffice to say then that in the actions of Malopa et al, there is a knee-jerk intuition to withdraw from objective political narrative, as demanded by our multiparty dispensation. Besides, replacing it with the kind of hip-hop bravado, that only appeals to those materially and financially benefiting from the delinquent benevolence of the distasteful surrogates in power, is to dump the whole nation into a sinkhole of stupidity.
