Now this raises more questions was the boat ever registered. what make is the boat? who certified it to be sea worthy? was the licence valid? ha ha ha

Free the Man. Let Govt provide transport solution to this area before implementing your whatever you call sea policies. It was not his fault.. but just an accident.. The area is just impassable by land, hence the only alternative is these unseaworthy boats. Unless govt provide alternative.. pple in this area will continue on relying on these boats.

Otherwise you end up scaring those people who are trying to help the community in this area, with their boats/ ma wato.
