Everywhere one is being investigated, he/she is supposed to gp on forced leave.

In countries where people are civilised and know the power of their integtity, they resign on their own to pave way for investigations.

Koma apa investigstions won’t be credible courtesy of political influences.

Then it remains the two to return the favour.

Where is the fight against corruption? I can’t see it.

Mr Joseph Banda you are not getting the point, MPs do not want the ACB to find the two deputy speakers guilty. ACB does not find anyone guilty it does not have that mandate, its mandate is to investigate and present their findings to relevant authority mostly to National Prosecuting Authority who do decide whether to charge the perpetrators or not if the findings are incriminating or not. But in this case as suspects are members of Parliament the ACB is required to report to Parliament if what the two did was a crime or not and Parliament will debate… Read more »

Sir Mr. Jelbin Makamo, thank you for taking the time to respond. Do you have the actual report or at least seen it? Surely the report had findings and conclusions. It appears the ACB never found any criminal activities but provided some short falls in the system that included the Head of that institution etc. Now of a sadden they return back the report (VERY RUDE!!!). Probably their wishes was not met (speculations)? We have grown to believe that every investigation sent to ACB must result in convictions. Shallow thinking (borrowing your word- actually avoid using such words as they… Read more »

O…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….O These brutes who call themselves honourables, just want to waste everybody else’s time . . . . . . It’s sad that they don’t realise that in asking for clarification and more information on the report, they are just exposing and confirming how spaceous their minds are (when measured by volume of emptiness). . . . coz a normal human mind only needs at most 30 percent of information to make a complete and informed decision. And the smaller the percentage, the more intelligent and wise, the mind is. . . . But look at what these MPs are… Read more »

Where was this committee when in the same house money was misappropriated by buying poshy vehicles for two individuals before that was sanctioned by the rest of the members? What I am saying here is not that the two deputy speakers allegations is not true, but my question is – “why is this being handled selectively? Let the two be responsible for their action so too should the committee bring on the table the others who did the same in the past, regardless of party affiliations.

It is sad that Msowoya is busy victimizing these two deputy speakers. Is parliamentary service commission above anybody? People have been arrested in this country did the defend them. They must be stupid. They want to continue meeting so that they can continue to accumulate allowances as they did during this investigations. They have been going to Salima on simple pretext to discuss the two deputy speakers

So Parliament wanted ACB to find the two Deputy speakers guilty when they were not in the wrong? I feel that the ACB now is working professionally without influences from any one. This shows that nothing would improve if ACB was reporting to Parliament. It would have been worse. Get lost Dzonzi
