Peter Mutharika gives K1m to Anglican Church in Mangochi
Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) torchbearer Peter Mutharika has donated K1 million to Anglican Church in Mangochi.
Mutharika presented his donation on Saturday towards the construction of the new St Thomas Church in Mangochi.
Businessman Leston Mulli also ditched K500, 000 at the fundraising event.
Mutharika was accompanied by DPP’s Secretary General Dr. Jean Kalilani, the National Organising Secretary Chimwemwe Mazabuka Chipungu, Regional Governor for the East Charles Jika, National Director of Youth Lewis Ngalande and DPP supporters who attended the event.
