Pictures depicting the event which Malawi President Joyce Banda had on Saturday at Civo Stadium in the capital, Lilongwe at the commissioning of Chilumba Battalion which has been upgraded from a garrison.
The President also bestowed the award of Commendable Act Medal on MDF Commander, General Henry Odillo, for his “professionalism and strict adherence to the Constitution” during the transition of power last year after the death of former president Bingu wa Mutharika.
