Piksy looks forward to B’ham show: To perform at Miss Malawi UK
Award-winning Afro rapper/singer, Piksy, says he looks forward to his first trip to the United Kingdom where he is scheduled to perform in Birmingham.
The Uncle Short One hit maker is billed to perform in Birmingham on 13th September at the Miss Malawi UK finale.
Piksy will not be travelling alone as he is expected to travel along with legendary Mlaka Maliro, who is also billed to perform at the same event.
“I will be leaving on 9 September,” disclosed Piksy. “I’m looking forward to the trip, this will be my first performance in the UK and I look forward to the show”.
Piksy and Mlaka will be heading to the UK few weeks after their return from South Africa where they had a series of performances in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
At the Miss Malawi UK pageant, the two artists will share the stage with Marco Sadik and Pop Dogg, Malawian artists who are based in Netherlands and Ireland, respectively.
The Miss Malawi UK 2014 pageant will see 11 Malawian women, based in the UK, competing for the title.
The beauty pageant seeks at promoting Malawi’s tourism to the UK and the rest of the world. The reigning Miss Malawi UK is Alexina Phiri.
