Ireland-based Malawian rapper, Pop Dogg, has a new single titled ‘iPhone’.

The artist revealed to Nyasa Times that his latest recording will be out this weekend.

The single is both in Chichewa and English, produced by God’s Fav and Mau and mixed by King David (Malawian Ninjaz Records).

“The song is one of my favourite tunes from the album ‘Enter The Ninja’ and I can’t wait to see how my fans will respond to it,” said Pop Dogg.

‘iPhone’ will hit the airwaves in Malawi by next week and available for streaming on his site www.reverbnation.com/popdogg.

Pop Dogg’s latest album is due for release somewhere in December. ‘Enter the Ninja’ has two full Chichewa songs titled ‘Nkhano Zolusa’ and ‘Malawi Moto’.

The rapper also revealed that one of his songs titled ‘Knock Out’, written by himself, made it in the book called Hip Hop Africa: New African Music In A Globalising World.

“It’s a great achievement to see my songs being referenced by authors,” expressed the rapper.

Pop Dogg is billed to perform in England’s Birmingham city alongside Malawi’s Afro R&B singer, Maskal, on 30th November.
