PP flood lowershire with bicycles, sewing machine donations

Malawi’s ruling People’s Party (PP) has been making donations of bicycles to traditional leaders in the lowers shire district of Nsanje.

The donations were presented by Abida Mia, a wife to Minister of Transport, Sidik Mia. She was accompanied by PP spokesman Hophmally Makande, PP regional director of women for south Jean Kamphale.

They presented 50 bicycles to traditional leaders in Nsanje.

Others items donated were; 20 sewing machines for the less fortune and the youths.

They also presented 30 balls for youths in various schools in the district.

The ceremony took place at Mtowe CDSS in Marka, Nsanje.

Mia and PP officials also distributed 2500 pieces of party clothes.
