Prophet Bushiri splashes K12m to 3 gospel singers

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, founder of Enlightened Christian Gathering Church, has bankrolled K4 million each to three blossoming gospel artists to help them advance their evangelising through music and release their albums,

Don Moen is popular for his awe-inspiring worship song that says God makes a way where there seems to be no way.  To James Piringu, Temwanani Mpherembe and David Essengo Modecai, this could be interpreted as God gives millions where there seems to be thousands following their inconceivable fluky phenomenon to get the support from Bushiri.

The donation will among others cater for studio and promotion costs.

“I love people with talents and I couldn’t pay no attention to the creativity in these artists that I singled out to help,” said Bushiri adding: “This money is intended to help them pay costs for their albums and I will also help them have best album launches.”

Bushiri also singled out Benjamini Dube as a feasible international guest to grace the album launching shows of the artists and confirmed to meet all the costs.

Kelvin Sulugwe, who is currently managing the artists through Young Malawian and Gifted confirmed three received the money form the ‘Man of Gd’

“Good things don’t come effortlessly and I can’t put out of sight my contentment and gratitude for this kind gesticulation that the man of God has showed to the music industry. This is something that people should emulate as it is the best way to promote and fortify local talent,” said Sulugwe.

According to Sulugwe, James Piringu’s album is almost through and as such they will start with him.

“These guys are astounding and they are best worshipers Malawi should look forward to. We are almost through with James’ album and promo Songs will be out as soon as he finishes studio work,” said Sulugwe adding:

“As for Temwa, we will shortly shoot two videos from her yet to be named album and this will also apply to the other two. We have singled out HD Plus Creations to shoot all the six videos and we will work with Nyasa Music to promote the projects.”

James Piringu’s launch is anticipated to be end September and he is expected to characteristic well established artists in his album.

Sulugwe also played down observations that Piringu’s style is in line with Patience Namadingo’s.

“I neither deny nor accept such observation, but I have seen people with similar trends such as Allan Chirwa and Mau K. In the end, Patience will be Patience while James will be James. I might have the same opinion to the point that James looks up to Patience and the two have been friends since infancy and have done worship music jointly,” explained Sulugwe.

Bushiri has also helped other gospel artists counting Onesimus Kalua (formerly Armstrong) who is in South Africa working on music projects supported by the same prophet of “Go deeper” autograph.
