I can only hope that the donated linen was not part of the obsolete items that the hotel mgt had just approved for disposal.

Nonetheless they will serve the purpose while they last.

I don’t think if the items were really for earmarked for disposal, that makes them insignificant to the beneficiaries! It’s this attitude which makes people like you to think that you have nothing to contribute when you can actually donate items you no longer use. Did you want to buy them?
