The DJ, who is a daughter to music maestro the late Bright ‘Livewire’ Nkhata, is in Malawi for charity work and the proceeds from the performances she has held so far will go towards her charity work.

“The feedback has been massively positive and I am so grateful that people appreciate what I am doing.

“The patrons should expect the unexpected. I am going to burn the house down with an international mix,” said Queen Agnes.

According to a press release, the show, dubbed Bank Alert: All Green Bash, has been organised by Mix Masters Entertainment and Marketing owned by Christopher Nkhoma aka DJ Flexor.

“DJ Queen Agnes is in Malawi to do charity work. One of the projects is in Embangweni in Mzimba where she has opened a nursery school,” said DJ Flexor who is also the artist’s manager.

The shows DJ Queen Agnes has organised in Malawi aim at raising money to support her charity work.

“DJ Queen Agnes has travelled all the way from USA to Malawi to trace her roots and support fellow Malawians. It is in support of the same idea that Queen Agnes is working with Basement Club to host Bank Alert: All Green Bash.

“Bank Alert  is a common word used to describe that situation when one has money in his or account. We want people in Blantyre to party with the Queen on this day. The DJ would like to interact with business people, DJs and musicians,” DJ Flexor said.

Mix Masters Entertainment and Marketing promotes musicians and DJs in the country. Some of the artists that the entertainment company has worked with are Gwamba, Lulu, Blakjak, Dictator, Nepman, Malinga Mafia, Maskal, Taygrin, and Piksy.

DJ Queen Agnes, who is based in United States of America, has worked with international artists including Sizzla, Gyptian, Alaine, Richie Spice and Davido.
