The former Flames Assistant Coach has included four new faces in his provisional squad ahead of the Swaziland assignment early next month. The four are, striker Maxwell Salambula and left winger Gilbert  Chirwa from Blue Eagles, Silver Striker’s Right winger Thuso  Paipi and attacking midfielder Mathews Sibale.

Ramadan has also recalled Costa do Sol midfielder  Chimango Kaira and Platinum Stars attacking midfielder Robert Ng’ambi into his provisional squad.

Both Kaira and Ng’ambi were overlooked by Former Flames Coach Earnest Mtawali in the last Flames AFCON assignment.

Apart from Kaira and Ng’ambi, the new Flames stand in Coach has recalled revived Silver Strikers central defender Lucky Malata who has been in sparkling form of late for his club and Blue Eagles defender Steve Chagoma who has been out of sight since Kinna Phiri was fired.

Speaking after announcing the squad at Mpira Village in Blantyre, Ramadan said the call up is a true reflection of Malawi ‘ s football.

“The squad represents a true reflection of what is good for Malawi ‘ s football. I have added new players and left some based on club performance. However there are others like Isaac Kaliati whom we have left out due to injury.

” The Captain remains Limbikani Mzamva but we may name a new Captain depending on what we think. My mission is to win and not build as it has been a case with the past coaches. We hope to pull out something from our last fixture in the AFCON qualifiers,” said Ramadan.

Asked on reasons why there are no MAFCO players in his provisional squad, Ramadan said it is due to footballing reasons.

“My philosophy of football will never be your philosophy. Please respect my criteria of selection.  About Richard Mbulu, he is a good player but he does not fit into my plans with the upcoming fixture. For Atusaye Nyondo and Robin Ngalande, it’s all about game time,” said the former Bullets Coach.

Meanwhile, Ramadan has confirmed that Blue Eagles Coach Declerk Msakakuona and South African based Patrick Mabedi will be among those in his backroom staff.

The Flames provisional squad is expected to go in camp on Sunday.
