Ramadhan delighted as Bullets rope in Chiukepo Msowoya
Bullets FC have roped in former South Africa’s Orlando Pirates midfielder Chiukepo Msowoya following the expiry of his one-year contract with a Mozambican club Club Costal do Sol.
The club’s expatriate coach Nsanzarwimo Ramadhan confirmed that the burly forward’s service would be needed at the team ahead of the Caf Champions League.
“Chiukepo has joined Bullets and we are hoping that since he has the experience he will help us a lot in the competition because nobody can buy experience,” Ramadhan said.
The tactician also dispelled concerns over the team’s failure to recruit better players saying the champions have got the stuff of winners.
“I am optimistic that Bullets have players who are capable of taking the team very far in the competition,” Ramadhan said.
“All we need to do is just to give them confidence and encourage them that they can do well.”
This should be relief to the former Flames prolific striker who rose to fame as a super substitute under the tutelage of former coach Kinnah Phiri.
Bullets have registered 26 players and started their preparations for the Caf Club Champions League game against Comoros Island’s Fomboni FC during the weekend of February 13-15 for the first leg match.
The return match is expected two weeks later at home.
