Reds Lions beat Moyal, move up to ninth: Malawi TNM Super League

Innocent Bokosi scored twice to inspire Red Lions with a 2-1 victory against Moyale Barracks in the TNM Super League on Sunday at Zomba Centre Community ground in all soldiers affair.

Moyale scored their consolation goal through Gastin Simkonda, who had a tough game after missing a penalty in the first half.

However, it was not an entertaining  encounter,as both sides resorted into earial balls playing on a dusty and bumpy pitch.

The result means that the Zomba based out fit has climbed the ladder on the log table displacing Epac FC on postion 9.

The Reds have 35 points from 25 games.

Moyale Barracks are stuck on position 8 with 36 points from 24 games.

Nyasa Big Bullets remains on the summit table  on a better goal aggregate as they have 45 points alongside Blue Eagles and Mafco.

MTV Max Bullets which pulls out of the competition are on the tail of the League,while Civo United and Karonga United are battling for survival.
