Mr. Mhango, just say what you have against Mrs Makina. The lady gave constructive advice to the health workers. Her advice bordered on premises that the representative of the sex workers (who according to the story, has no remorse over her stinking profession) boasted that they get easy treatment whenever they catch STIs regardless of their frequency. Does Mr Mhango know that by exposing themselves to multiple HIV infections, the sex workers(dzina la ulemu la mahule) are exposing themselves to HIV? Inu a CHREAA be professional, kodi zonse zomwe zimalembedwa m’manyuzi ndi zoona? First prove if Makina really said those words then you can start making your noise. Kodi character ya report wa nkhani ija mumaidziwa bwinobwino? If you want to help sex workers there better things to do.
This is taking things too far. I didn’t any discrimination in the advise Makina gave as reported by Nyasatimes. You mean somebody boasting that she is treated so many times with STI’s need not be cautioned? Where is discriminatory here? Makina could not talk of people who were not present on the function hence had no voice. I don’t see any reason for Makina to apologize but rather CHREAA should come in to assist the people of Chitipa with sensitization on the dangers of unprotected sex to these sex workers instead of fighting the leadership of the hospital.
