It will be first time the youthful poets that usually assembles at KwaHaraba Art Gallery in Blantyre are putting up show of such magnitude.

They showcase their talents among themselves every Wednesday evening of each week, for the past months, at the same venue.

According to one of the organizers of the show, Yankho Seunda, who also hosts the weekly performances, poetry lovers should be ready for an unforgettable encounter with unexplored talent.

“It’s about time we embrace the spirit of supporting our very own. These are amazing poets that speak to the  souls and not only do they use poetry as an art tool but also something that will keep people on the edge of their sits come the 11th of December,” said Seunda.

Dubed ‘Rising of Spoken word Poetry’, the show will bring together artists such as Gemini, Mwai Simbota, Hewpoet, Panacea, Tendai, Rabie, Yangairo Yangairo, and Brian.

According to Seunda, the show will also be spiced by acoustic music performances from Eddie and Malala.

Tickets for the show are currently available at KwaHaraba Art Gallery in Blantyre.
